Training
Born to an Italian mother and a Basque father, I was born in London but spent my youth in Madrid, where I pursued my studies in Tourism and completed a Master's in Marketing. From a young age, I was interested in languages and soon obtained the C2 Proficiency (Cambridge) certification at the University of Bridgeport in the USA and the Alliance Française certification in Paris.
Beginnings
I started working as a tour guide in Southern Spain at the age of 17 with the companies Julia Tours and Pullmantur and I worked at the travel wholesaler Club de Vacaciones' office in New York as the second in charge for a year and a half. Later, I was the representative of Mundicolor in Ibiza and Gran Canaria for several seasons. I was one of the promoters of the French adventure multinational Nouvelles Frontières in Spain, and later, together with other young entrepreneurs, I co-founded an adventure travel agency and wholesaler, Entalpia, becoming pioneers in the market for this type of travel.
Together with the leading hotel consultant of the time in Spain, Daniel Gutiérrez, we created the first wholesaler for Rural Houses and Charming Hotels in Spain, called CEREZA. Later, I worked with Matilde Torres, a great visionary of long-distance tourism in Spain, at her wholesale agency Catai Tours, helping her create two inbound products and "Secret Europe," seeking the quality and luxury seal characteristic of the agency.
Ibiza
In 1997, I arrived in Ibiza to start my own company focused on Rural Tourism and Vacation Rental Homes: Ecoibiza. A company whose core principle has always been to offer high-quality services and prioritize customer care. For over 25 years, my team and I selected the best rural villas, luxury properties and apartments on the island for both short and long stays, paying close attention to the services, design, and comfort of these accommodations. We also offered concierge services through partners, with a strong emphasis on customer service. In 2023, after a quarter of a century as CEO and reaching the supposed retirement age, I decided to sell the company, allowing me more time for myself and to focus on consulting.
